With Your Help We Can Make It Happen - Again!

You’ve heard from us, and possibly others—Tuesday December 3rd is #GivingTuesday—a day to celebrate the power of collective generosity.

And thanks to the E.L. & Thelma Gaylord Foundation Matching Grant all contributions will benefit so that we can save more horses, keep our program running and place deserving horses into good horses into the new year.

So, today isn’t the only day to give, but it sure is a good one!

The volunteers and horses are asking for your support. We are reaching out before this special Tuesday to make sure we get our message out as it is that important to our program. Our year end funding campaign helps us set up for the next year in 2025 which also happens to be our 20th Anniversary.

In the last 2 years, 2022 and 2023, generous supporters like you raised over $125,000 for our year end fundraising to help us rescue, care for and groom horses ready for placement to new homes. So we are setting our target again to raise $150,000. We are though starting from a bit of a hole as compared to most prior years. Last year in 2023 we raised just over $600K and this year to date we are at $340K where we had no recourse but to scale back operations in recent months to reduce costs. We hope that this is only a temporary situation as our adoption program continues to be robust with a lot of interest. There are too many good stories and case examples to share but it is certainly more than sufficient to keep us determined to continue our work to help these horses. Our operations are very transparent and are documented through Facebook Live Videos stored and shared on our Facebook time line for all to see.

We are asking you to join us once again for the horses. You can donate here online or send us a check made out to Saddlebred Rescue Inc and sent to the address noted below. Donation receipts are always provided. The rescue's tax EIN is
